Located on a wide sandy beach, Sweet Spot is like a pretty jewel box next to the sea. Its remarkable location is the best of all worlds ... a 6,000-square-foot private home with a huge lawn and beach ~ just yards from the Breezes golf pro shop which offers unlimited complimentary greens fees to Sweet Spot guests.

Interiors at Sweet Spot are brightly furnished and cheerful. French doors open wide to the lovely sea view. All bedrooms are air conditioned and have flat screen TVs. However, you may wish to leave your doors open at night to hear the waves lapping on the beach. The DSS satellite system offers news, sports, movies, family and children`s programming plus several music stations.

The large lawn is trimmed in colorful hibiscus, bougainvillea, shrimp flowers, oleander, banana trees and stately coconut palms. The lawn is a great playground for badminton, croquet and volleyball ... or merely napping in the hammock in the shade of the beautiful Cassia Fistula tree with its beautiful cascading bunches of yellow flowers.

Beyond the lawn is the 10,000-square-foot beach, clear water and excellent reef just 50 feet offshore. Sea kayaks and snorkeling equipment are complimentary. As a special evening treat, the staff will plan a poolside barbecue ... with chicken, ribs, chops, fish or lobster ... or a nighttime bonfire on the beach.

Sweet Spot is located right on the Caribbean sea and the owners want to be sure impacts to the marine environment are minimized or eliminated. During the 2007/9 renovation, a state-of-the art tertiary sewage treatment plant was installed. Our guests can enjoy Sweet Spot’s white sand beach and immediate proximate to the sea with complete confidence that the nearshore coral reefs are not being affected by the villa’s luxurious amenities.


We want you to enjoy your holiday in unrivaled comfort, so we leave water and energy usage up to you. Please let our staff know how frequently you would like sheets and towels changed and when you want the air conditioners turned on and off in your rooms.


Sweet Spot patronizes local businesses and farmers and our kitchen staff are anxious to introduce you to Jamaican cuisine. Please let them suggest local meals drawn from our diverse and fascinating culture.


Jamaica’s recycling industry is in its infancy, and at the moment, there is no collection of recyclables from Runaway Bay. We therefore minimize the use of disposable and non biodegradable packaging.


Sweet Spot’s owners actively support two local environmental groups – the Jamaica Conservation and Development Trust (link) and the Jamaica Environment Trust www.jamentrust.org Both groups work to ensure the health and integrity of the island’s gorgeous landscape and its wildlife are conserved.
